Here's an interesting summary of some recent findings on neurofeedback used to treat depression. Axio currently only uses EEG to measure mental states, but something we're interested in here is creating consumer fMRI to help people understand more regions of their brains.

Interesting lecture on biofeedback and neurofeedback. The lecture is given by a professor at McGill University to an electrical engineering class. While the lecture is long (about an hour), I recommend watching at least the first minute because it gives a great basic definition of biofeedback.
